That's the best way I can describe them. My son is 6 months old and his first teeth to break through were his TOP two in front. They have continued to grow in and I have noticed that they seem to have a v-shape to them. THere is no flat surface on the bottom of the tooth! I am concerned that something is wrong. I know baby teeth are sharp, but these don't look right. Anyone else seen anything like this before?

I would have an exam done by a pediatric dentist.

Usually, the lower front teeth erupt first. It could be that the teeth that you describe are actually his canine teeth. It would be a little unusual for them to come in first, and it may look like they are in the front, but as he grows, so does his palate. If they are indeed his central incisors (front 2 upper teeth), the shape you describe would be a bit unusual, altho all teeth have slight variations.

I saw a show on Discovery Health called Mystery Diagnosis - the little boy had pointed teeth. I think the condition was called NEMO immune deficiency syndrome.
