Radical thinkers break all molds. Jesus was a radical thinker, Martin Luther was a radical thinker, Ghandi was a radical thinker, Martin Luther King was a radical thinker, Moses was a radical thinker, Abraham was a radical thinker. Being a radical thinker isn't necessarily a bad thing, these individuals have contributed to the world as a whole, and they have made people stop and think, and rethink. We have free will, we don't have to conform-to-the-norm, as it were. You don't have to agree or believe of follow radical thinkers, but the stimulation to your own thoughts is a gift to you. Radical thinkers make you think as well. Perhaps their enlightenment will help you find the answers to your questions, and help you with your relationship with G-d, if you believe in Him, or what ever you feel works for you.

Jesus was a pretty radical thinker. He managed to upset all the religious leaders of his day, as well as the Roman government. If it wasn't for his radical thinking, there wouldn't be any Christianity.

Here are some pretty radical thoughts from Jesus:

Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.
Do not judge, or you too will be judged.
Do not worry about your life... but seek first [God's] kingdom and his righteousness.

Oh, and Jesus certainly broke the mould of the religion of his day. He called the teachers of the Law and the Pharisees hypocrites, snakes, a brood of vipers and likened them to whitewashed tombs which look beautiful on the outside but are full of dead men's bones on the inside. Not surprisingly the religious leaders were not best pleased and had him nailed to a cross.

Yeah, let's have more radical thinkers. Let's see religious moulds broken, especially when they deviate from the word of God and encourage people to murder, torture and pervert justice. Oh, and please don't restrict your question to Christianity. Take a look at what's happening in other religions too.

Radical thinkers can add to religion by veering away from moldy interpretations. But all people are encouraged to question all thinking both radical or pedestrian, and participate in divine revelation. Radical thinkers are sometimes radically wrong. If they are what they think they are, they will welcome correction. I don't know any like that, but.....no one's perfect.

I believe we add to and break it. A lot of things in our religion are influenced by the morals of the time Chritianity was most dominant (Middle Ages) and they are in no way the teachings of God so therefore our "radical" thinking somewhat adds to our belief but also breaks age-old beliefs that are incorrect and quite prejudice.
