People like Paris Hilton may appear to have it easy. However do we really know her deep down in her heart? She may smile for the camera however behind closed doors she truly may not be happy. Someone mentioned Joni- she was paralyzed in a diving accident when she was a teenager- she is one of the most joyful people in the world, because she knows Jesus. We cannot judge someone by what appears to be true. I struggle with a chronic pain illness and my husband is disabled, granted life can be hard at times, but we would much rather know that we are loved and saved by Jesus then live a life that appears to be good and easy- and hide behind the fact that we were lost. Many people out there who we think have an easy life live a private one of fear, loneliness and hardship.

I don't think Paris Hilton is any more happier than I am. More beautiful, yes, happier, no.
She isn't even able to go out in public without make-up and a messy due or the paparazzi will accuse her of being on drugs, having a nervous break-down, or some other wild story.
Yes, she may have more money, but does she have the two beautiful children that I do that gives me a good reason for waking up every morning?
I think we should all be thankful for what we have and stop wishing our yards were as green as our neighbors.
And, if you see someone in such horrible conditions and in need of help---help them out.

in all reality, money is just a material, and even though she is worth millions, she has a terrible lifestyle, which will probably end short due to an overdose or something. If you can imagine how crappy it would be to have millions of people adore you, but each and everyone of them have 0 respect for her. Someone with a genetic disease is more inclined to be honest, trustworthy, and understand all of lifes trials and tribulations, and in all honesty work hard for everything that they get and end up in heaven of something while paris will die alone, with no companion, and sad. I smile about that everyday. Hell, just look at britney. Had the world by the short and curlys and then what? Lost her damn mind, respect of everyone, and most importantly her kids. ouch...

god doesn't control what happens to people. i.e. Paris Hilton makes her own luck. Sadly that "lady" has some powerful friends and can tromp over who ever she wants. people with genetic disorders, have exactly what's in the title. It's all in the genetics and family history of diseases.

Wow, you think her life is easy? I got bored one day and watched a documentary on her, she just has a different set of problems than a person with a genetic disorder. Everyone has something that is their challenge and sometimes someone elses may look simpler on the surface but after digging for a bit I found that I prefer my issues to other peoples... after all I already know how to deal with mine.

I think Paris Hilton is one of the saddest people I have seen. No talent except a willingness to let herself be prostitued by the media

God does not make it "easy" or "difficult" for anyone. We are the ones who make it so for each other. We have created a social order where not everybody is given the respect and love each one deserves. Is it the poor person's fault that he was born in a world where basic things like food and shelter are inaccessible to him? Is God the one who made the world so? I think not.
God does not will anybody to have genetic disorders. He doesn't will for us to suffer. Human suffering is a great mystery that we cannot fully comprehend. What we can do is to make it a means for grace, a way for us to be in solidarity with Jesus. For suffering can be a way we can connect to other people and lead both them and ourselves to greater compassion for one another.

There is an old saying..."If Satan can not defeat you through discouragment, He will instead tempt you with riches"
God does not make things happen in people's lives if they are not believers in Him. He does not control us...we control ourselves...it is called free will.
The Bible says that rain will fall on both the just and the unjust. This is to say that life happens....not that God is controlling everything. Sometimes it is our choices that cause things to happen, other times it is the choices that someone else has made that effect us but either way, an unbeliever may prosper while a believer is poor etc.
If you are a believer (and I assume you are) you must acknowledge that if you place your trust in God he will turn all things to your good. That is his promise.
Romans 8:28
"And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose."

Nobody on the planet is without genetic disorders, otherwise that person would be physically perfect. The degree of disorders may appear (to outward appearances) to be worse for some, but mental disorders, for example can be more horrendous to endure than any physical problem. Go ask a manic depressive about that. I have heard some of them say they would exchanage their mental suffering for any amount of physical suffering, if given a choice.
I see neighbours who appear to have it all, but once I speak with them, they tell of grief, heartache and suffering way beyond anything I've had to deal with. Don't be fooled by outward appearances! God is not so concerned with what we have to deal with in life, but whether we will deal with whatever comes our way, HIS way. He gives strength to all who trust him, and the way out when things become unbearable. Remaining true to him is the key to a satisfying life.

Lol. Money will get you anything. Especially when you're as rich as Paris Hilton. Daddy gives her the money to be ditzy.
As for why... luck and daddys work. Nothing to do with any god.
