they are red meat. When I was in paramedic school years ago, as part of my internship I got to see several operations up close, and I can tell you-the inside of a human looks no different than beef at all. Same thing. Light or dark meat comes from poultry.

I've been told I have "chicken legs" so does that make me dark meat? I've been told my arms are like "chicken wings", so that'd be white meat. I guess I'm a mixed grill!
