If you yourself got hit by a car would you be taken to the emergency room if you didn't have insurance? Just as I thought!!! Take the dog to the vet!!!! What the h*ll does insurance have to do with being a responsible dog owner?? By not seeking medical help for the dog is a crime, called neglect / cruelty to animals!!!!!

Why did you allow your dog to run in the street without a leash? Why are you still asking what should you do, get off the computer stop waiting for answers and rush the dog to a vet ASAP!

You need to get him to a vet regardless. Ring up first and explain the situation so you can find a clinic that can accomodate you. Vets can also give you phone numbers of appropriate people that can help you.
Don't waste any more time - and get your dog insured when he's better, now you've learned your lesson.

Take him to the vet right now. Why did you even get a dog if you cant afford medical treatment for him?? If you do not take him to the vet asap that counts as animal cruelty and you can go to jail. All because you wanted to save a few dollars.

The only right thing for you to do is get the dog some medical help. You cant just leave your dog in pain.
Make arrangements with your vet for payment.
Get the dog to the vets now!!!

Take him to the vet and explain. Because animals don't sue their doctors very often, veteranary care is still affordable. If you end up being unable to pay, I'm sure your church or friends or something will help you out. Get to the vet. Your dog will be fine!

my cat got hit by a car and was acting quite normal when infact she had an internal injury take your dog to the vet even if he seems ok itll set you back a few $$$ but its worth it and possibly get pet insurance
ps check for any visible injuries and keep your dog as stress free as possible on the ride there

Call the SPCA and see about free clinics...being a dog owner you are responsible for it. They make leashes and dog runs for dogs, they aren't supposed to be running around loose. Why don't you turn him over to the SPCA, or call Dalmatian rescue, they will take him and take him to a DR. and then give it to someone who is alot more responsible!!
