Sure in Numbers 22:21 The Baalam's donkey story starts.
However,
In Romans 1: 26-32 Paul condemned homosexuality. Paul is a Donkey personafied. He was ignorant of two major elements.
1. Paul had no idea that some people are born as homosexuals. Yet, he ranted about certain people were sinning against God, by choosing same gender sex mates.
I would have loved to have been there and asked Paul; Why would God create someone unique and then condemn that person for being unique?
2. He was ignorant of Jesus, yet he made up a story, similar to Balaam's donkey, . This time Paul who never knew Jesus and couldn't have read the Gospels, because they were not written until after Paul died; This time, without any knowledge of Jesus, he made up a story that after Jesus died he appeared to Paul as a hologram; and that Jesus appointed him (Paul) to teach the whole world about Jesus' mission.
Now, comes Church Christians who quote Paul's Personal letters, and claim Jesus died for their sins. Jesus never even approached that theme. Jesus' entire theme was for us to forgive each other, for us to be born again into a spirit and justice system that does not allow holding a grudge or seeking revenge. Paul even perverted the interpretation of John 3:16, which meant in the original greek text "to believe is to believe someones instructions" -- Who are the Donkey's?
Jesus died on the cross to make a point that he meant what he had taught us. Jesus' last words were "Forgive them, father, for they know not what they do."
And, when I visit a Christian Church, I , who have studied Jesus and try to follow Jesus' teachings, when I attend a so-called Christian Church I am insulted by them quoting and almost worshipping Paul. (As you know, I am a retired Baptist Minister (substitute minister) Can you imagine my dilemma?
Please don't judge Jesus by the words of Paul, or those who quote Paul's letters (which make-up half of the New Testament).
sorry for the rambling.
note: In 1611 the Bible was corrupted quite a lot by Religious Empires.
PS: I am not a homosexual. But I am left-handed. Most people are right-handed. Should I feel guilty for eating my dinner with my left hand?

Actually the story says that God opened the mouth of the donkey. Perhaps it was the voice of the angel who stood in the way of Balaam. He could not see the angel but the donkey could and moved three times, finally lying down. Then Balaam saw the angel. Balaam was doing something that made God mad and this was what happened to him. Balaam was aiding king Balak against the Isralites who had been led out of Egypt. So the donkey was made to speak, I am sure that it was a mockery to Balaam. Balaam asked forgiveness and mercy after that. However he thought up a new plot against God's people so was killed shortly after.

There is also a reference to Numbers 22 in 2 Peter 2:16. If you don't believe it that's your prerogative. Uh huh.

Just study everything you can about Peter the Apostle - in the New Testament. Was that one of those end of the line breeds who can't make offspring? The donkey, I mean? Or is that a mule?
Jesus rode into Jerusalem on the back of an @ss! It was a prophetic sign - but the donkeys are all BLIND! Yes, they are as blind as bats! Has anyone seen such a sight? They are like sleeping dogs!
Jerusalem - Jerusalem - Killer of the Prophets, and stoner of the servants I send to thee - rising up early in the morning and sending them. (Kinda sounds like democracy, with the common servants of God - getting up early (OT), and going to the "Big House" to voice thier concerns, don't it?) - Stoner or the servants I send unto you. (The Law was the Church in the Old Testament if you will remember.)

Num 22:23 When the donkey saw the angel of the LORD standing in the way with his drawn sword in his hand, the donkey turned off from the way and went into the field; but Balaam struck the donkey to turn her back into the way.
Num 22:24 Then the angel of the LORD stood in a narrow path of the vineyards, with a wall on this side and a wall on that side.
Num 22:25 When the donkey saw the angel of the LORD, she pressed herself to the wall and pressed Balaam's foot against the wall, so he struck her again.
Num 22:26 And the angel of the LORD went further, and stood in a narrow place where there was no way to turn to the right hand or the left.
Num 22:27 When the donkey saw the angel of the LORD, she lay down under Balaam; so Balaam was angry and struck the donkey with his stick.
Num 22:28 And the LORD opened the mouth of the donkey, and she said to Balaam, "What have I done to you, that you have struck me these three times?"
Num 22:29 Then Balaam said to the donkey, "Because you have made a mockery of me! If there had been a sword in my hand, I would have killed you by now."
Num 22:30 And the donkey said to Balaam, "Am I not your donkey on which you have ridden all your life to this day? Have I ever been accustomed to do so to you?" And he said, "No."
Num 22:31 Then the LORD opened the eyes of Balaam, and he saw the angel of the LORD standing in the way with his drawn sword in his hand; and he bowed all the way to the ground.
Num 22:32 And the angel of the LORD said to him, "Why have you struck your donkey these three times? Behold, I have come out as an adversary, because your way was contrary to me.
Num 22:33 "But the donkey saw me and turned aside from me these three times. If she had not turned aside from me, I would surely have killed you just now, and let her live."
Num 22:34 And Balaam said to the angel of the LORD, "I have sinned, for I did not know that you were standing in the way against me. Now then, if it is displeasing to you, I will turn back."

Numbers 22:28 is the only reference that I know of.A good source for you to look things up like this would be in blueletterbible.com . With God all things are possible. I hope you will keep searching the scriptures and find yourself closer to God each day. I know we Christians don't always set a very good example but God is not done with us yet either. We all need a closer walk with Him.

Pillar of salt is in the old testament somewhere. Lot's wife turns into a pillar of salt. Look salt up in a concordance and see if you can find it; I'm not sure where it is exactly. Talking donkeys is a new one on me.
