Yahoo Groups has some good places. I just recently found a great Catholic chat (if you are Catholic or are interested in learning more about Catholicism) at the Catholic Spitfire Grill.

I have gone to Christian chat rooms on Talk City, msn and Yahoo at various times. There are other choices as well.
