That's easy: The trinity isn't true. Jesus never claimed to be any more than God's son.

There are different kinds of equal and greater. As an example, my dad is 6'2", his boss is 5'8". Who is greater? My dad is greater in height, his boss is greater in authority.
The Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost are three infinate beings which share the same infinate power, wisdom, and authority; but within that trinity, the Father is the only one that does not direve from another: the Son direvies from the Father and the Holy Ghost derives from the Father and the Son. When people talk about God as being the "uncaused first cause," they're talking about the Father. The Son and Holy Ghost both have a cause: the Father. But when they talk about God as being the creator of all things, or all powerful, or all knowing, or ever present, or all loving, or pretty much anything else, it applies equally to all three persons of the Trinity.

We have come to believe that Jesus was like God on earth although he was adamant that he was just the Son of God and that God in Heaven was the Father!
