if I can get a dog what puppy should I get and what should I name it?

I'd get a lab. They are very loving and pretty smart. We have an almost blind lab with diabetes, and we didn't even know she had sight problems, because she memorized the house! She has to take insulin, and she's never protested. Within a day or two, she must have realized it made her feel better, and when she hears me mixing it, she goes to where I first gave her the shot, sits down, and sticks out her leg. It she's on the wrong side for that time of day, I tell her, "wrong side," she gets up, turns around, and sticks out the other hip!

As for names, Molly is a chocolate lab, and I was ready with all sorts of names, like Nestle, Reese, Hershey, etc., but she already knew her name. My nephew has a yellow lab named Sunshine, too.

Advice... Get a dog that is a perfect match for your personality as well as lifestyle. For example, if you are at school or work for most of the day, don't adopt a puppy that needs constant attention such as my dog - a jack russel terrier named Dodger. As for names: Trigger, Durango, Diesel, Kyra, Molly, Ace, Chip, Buddy, Toby... The list goes on!

I would say a Border Collie, they are the smartest dogs. Very loyal, good with people. My mom has one and she even knows her frisbe from her football to her tennis ball. She is the smartest dog I've ever known. They aren't too big either.

Definately a Maltese! We have just recently gotten one, and we fall more in love with her day by day. She is beautiful, greets us whenever we come home. We bought her some colothes today, she is adorable =)
