Obviously you do not watch the UFC then because is an opponent if on the ground you are not allowed to kick or stomp their head, it will cause you to get DQ. Also, after an opponent is knocked out, you will rarely see him take extra shots. Try and atcually watch it sometime,it is the most exciting sport around.

Actually in the UFC you arent allowed to knee, kick or stomp a downed opponents head, also a downed opponent period, the UFC is not a sport, its a sport organization, the sport is mixed martial arts, originally known as no holds barred fighting. Which meant that anything went as long as you win, this included headbutts, attacking a downed opponent in any way you wanted, etc. These rules apply to any mma organization in the U.S. thanks to the New Jersey athletic commission, which were the first ones to make these rules, which is why most organizations go by them.

In Texas you arent allowed to elbow an opponent that is down either, which sucks because throwing elbows are fun. Now in Pride its a different story, because its a different country, however now that the UFC owns Pride, the rules of Pride will change so that when a Pride fighter goes against a UFC fighter, and vise versa, they will both be used to the same rules and regulations. Learn the rules of these organizations, this way you wont look like such a dumbass next time.

Hey loser! Why don't you go out and buy yourself a freakin' clue! I can't stand when idiots like you come on here and start bashing something they have no clue about. Have you ever watched UFC. There is no head stomping (not stamping genius) and no kneeing when a opponent is down. And if a fighter is knocked out the referee is right there to jump in. So how about educating yourself so you can at least form some sort of accurate opinion.

1- NO the opponent is not allowed to kick the crap out of his "head" if the guy is KNOCKED OUT.

2- even if they are not koed, then they can't do that in the ufc, pride is a different story but who knows if that will still be legit after dana white screws up the rules.

3- aren't you like, far, like away from like, the vhalley, like?

Sometimes the action is so fast paced it is too hard to tell if the guy is knocked out already, so they are trained to keep going until the ref steps in. It seem a little barbaric sometimes, but thats the nature of the beast. If you do not like it go watch soccer because thats where all the other p u s s i es will be.

i've got self belief he will, for a pair motives: first, he's in large actual situation. 2d, he truly desires to come again lower back. he's not that previous, the two. probability is he's going to be out for a protracted time, because of the fact the technique the docs did strengthen into tremendously in touch. there'll probable be an intervening time identify lower back, yet i'm confident Brock will come back and combat lower back. we are going to discover out tremendously quickly if there is even a raffle.

In UFC you can't kick a downed opponent to the head, only to the outside of the legs, you are entitled to your opinion, but you must do your homework first before making statements.

K... to the asker and the person who called UFC fighters rednecks, you're no better than they are by stereotyping them. Not all UFC fighters are assholes or the type of fighter you portray them to be. Many are gentleman class acts, some of whom were much more well-mannered, down to earth, and without the arrogance carried by other traditional martial artists.

And then there's PRIDE FC. But wait, you only know about UFC, so therefore, all MMA athletes must be like the UFC "redneck, roid pumped" athletes. *rolls eyes*. Don't make gross generalizations.

It is not stupid at all, at least not any more so than other sports. Usually the ref steps in and stops it.
There have been no deaths in UFC yet, can NASCAR say the same thing?

Most sports are man vs. man with things like goals, balls and pucks. In UFC and the like it is just man vs. man, no silly points or balls. It is too the point and therefore less dumb than other sports in my opinion.
