The idea that asking people to back up claims with hard physical evidence is some kind of character flaw is ridiculous.

I guess we should ask our juries and judges not to question things, either. Police should just accept a suspect's alibi without question and never solve any crimes.

Questioning purported facts, questioning authority... these are heatlhty traits.

Blindly submitting to experts or authorities is a dangerous practice.

Questioning is natural to any human, religious or not. Refusing to question is really a sign of lack on confidence in one's faith.
