Bleach would do the trick. But if careful. I know of a guy who used bleach on his arms to remove the age spots. It worked but he ended up with a lot of T-cells.

Skin-whitening products work in various ways. Some contain acids that remove old skin to reveal newer, lighter skin underneath. Others inhibit melanin, like those with mulberry extract, licorice extract, kojic acid, arbutin and hydroquinone, an ingredient in prescription creams for blemishes as well as in photo processing materials.

Meladerm® is generally used to reduce the appearance of hyperpigmented skin on the body or face. Many of our customers use the product to achieve a uniform skin tone by lightening uneven areas and dark spots. Our products can also be used to brighten the overall complexion by lightening sun damaged skin

yes waxing instead of shaving will help. however sometimes the skin of the armpit (like the inside of tighs) will go brownish when it rubs against skin. tighs rub against each other when a little overweight, and so do arms. you may want to try a talcum powder so that the skin won't be sticky and when it rubs it just glides.

waxing them instead of shaving them reduces the grayish "5 o'clock shadow" under there
