On Yahoo Answers, or anywhre, you rarely get straight answer from Muslims.
Why? Because it is a great sin to speak the truth if it shames the Koran or their religion--they do not even speak among themselves in a questioning manner and they avoid contradictions in the Koran.
To shame Allah or his "prophet" is as bad as leaving Islam--it may cost you your life.
It's called: TAQUEYA, legal lying to defend the faith; whereas, "The Book" the Koran says you must believe all God's prophets to be good Muslim. and "the Book" says all liars will have their part in the Lake of Fire.
You want truth from the Bible? Just like God allowed Judas to betray Jesus, Islam was allowed to punish apostate Christians and it is also destined for extinction--read: "The Rise, Decline, and Death of Islam in Bible Prophecy" at www.revelado.org/islam.htm
You see, the prophets, all descendants of Abram, knew about the destiny of Islam.

First, most are amateurs at debate, if they weren't they'd be a Cleric at least.
Get into a debate with an Imam, you'll find it's a rough as getting into a debate with any college professor or Chrisitian theologian.
They like taking things as a whole.
They also like mincing words.
Let's take a situation that is now occuring and see how their Quran and Minds basically work.
Australia and New Zealand. They have discovered convincing "evidence" that the Abborigonies were Afghan Muslims who cross over to Australia long before Britain sent the prisoners there.
Hence, Australia and New Zealand can be looked at as Islamic territory, settled by Islamic people.
Now, the other Australians are innocents. If they submit and accept the Islamic views there will be no problems, except Islamic law will have to prevail.
If they don't submit, then they are subject to Jihad at any time in the future. They are infidels who don't submit to the rightful settlement.
This same logic is applied to Israel, Kasmir and, as a whole, India.
Since the Crusaders invaided them, they have a right to drive them out and even capture their territory and they once did that, then left or were driven out.
But, since THEY were the subject of the invasion, THEY have the God given right to Jihad.
As far as they are concernted, France, Spain and other nations that faced the Jihad replusion of the invaiding Crusader armies are their captured territories.
The captives surrendered. If you take back that surrender, you are subject to the harshes of penalties.
Under their terms of logic England, for example, has a claim to America and can retaliate without notice anytime it onces to to regain the colonies. It would be England's God given right if they were Islamic.
Since their claim of religion goes back to Abraham and God and the Creation, it, thus, predates Buddhism, Hindus, Shiks, Jewish faiths and Christianity.
Hence all lands are rightfully theres by right of God.
We're all out here by their good graces, but at any point in time they can claim posession if if you resist, well, there are instructions as to how deal with that.
Something like this only works when you have the numbers.
Communism never had the numbers, so it didn't work. It had minimal support among the rank and file, who were suppose to benefit the most from the Marx system.
Islam has a strong supporter base, because the rules are to submit absolutely.
In short, Nationalism is MANDITORY and retaliation against the anti-social is not a human rights issue. It's a God given mandate.
There are no loop holes, you can't go up against it, you can't re-write it. ORTHODOXY is manditory.
When someone like an Ayotollah makes a decision or proclimation it is not questioned, it is followed.
It would take a very brave Muslim to go face to face with an Imam, Cleric or Ayotollah and challenge their way of thinking.
Quite an effective political tool that Quran is, isn't it.
And at this point in time there is no Caliph. No, Pope, if you will.
The religion is being run, essentially, by indepedent Cardinals with staked out territory and no one to answer to but God and each other.
Each practises Islam as they feel it should be practised. If they want to be TOTALLY Orthodox no one can question them. If want to take every verse of the Quran literally, no cleric will go up against them.
If they want to be a more moderate, well, let's hope they have a strong base of support.
Iraq is going to be quite interesting to watch as it has Syria on one side and Iran on the other and al Qudea in the middle and each of them have their own ideas about the direction of Islam.
Lebannon and Iran in the 1960s were quite liberal or moderate. Look at what they have become today.

Give an example. How do you know it is the most accurate quotation when you probabaly havn't even studied the Qu'ran (seeing as you can't even spell it) and nor have most others. If the quotes been pulled off an anti-islamic site then it is not a reliable source since the site will be fudging the truth to benefit their points. You have to prove that the quotation is accurate before people will believe it.

Perhaps because it is violent http://www.skepticsannotatedbible.com/quran/2/index.htm#216 The koran says to kill Jews and Christians.
Also, it is sexually gross. Virgins await those who enter paradise. It says in ayahs 4.3, 4.24, 23.6, 33.50, and 70.30 that Mohammed was a rapist.
