Does Dilantin cause extra hair,facial, arms ect..? I take 500mg/ day :-(?

Dilantin does not typically cause hair loss, but can cause excessive hair growth. on both body and face. Other side effects include nausea, rash, unsteadiness, thinking and memory problems; stomach upset, insomnia, nervousness, muscle twitching; swelling of gums; loss of appetite; widening of nose; Depakote (valproic acid) can cause hair loss.
