STOP! giving him things.
You want him to fall for YOU not your purse.
Just be there, be friendly, funny and yourself. Stop trying so hard and give him a chance to either choose you or not. You can't buy love, you can only rent it the way you're going about it.

When I was in military service, I heard of friends who were sad and depressed because their girlfriends were being difficult and not understanding at all. They didn't really ask for a lot of material stuff but for their girl to understand the stress (both mental and physical) they were going through. Also, being in the army, time is not really a luxury they have. This means that they have less time to go out with their girlfriends. Most of the girlfriends cited "not enough time spent together" as the main reason for breaking up.
So knowing that your boyfriend is in the army, try to be supportive and encouraging. Though time spent together may not be what it used to be, be understanding and help him with your support. I think that's the best thing you can give him.
All the best.

well you could buy him some clothes or take him out for dinner or a drink or even better you could invite him round to your place and cook him a meal. You don't always have to buy are give him stuff he should just like you for who you are not what you give him. You never no he might just like your company that is why he will never get mad at you. Hope this helps you.

The food is usually not very good in the military. When mine was in service, he loved homemade cookies, fudge, and brownies. I always sent enough for him to share with his buddies. It made him feel proud.

You shouldn't be buying his love if thats what your doing. Maybe you should just send him a letter. Talk to him. Plan a trip for both of you. I just don't think you should be buying him things. Don't think you have to buy him things is what I am trying to say. He should love you for you not for your money!
