Paint the whole ceiling or it will never match because the paint already on has faded.

It depends on how old the house is, many ceilings these days are not painted ,it is just pro form drywall mud that is sprayed on then knocked down,or has styrofoam balls added to it for an acoustic ceiling ,so you may only need some pro form lite blue to do you r touch uos, if you are certian they are painted ,you may have to get a fan deck from a local paint store and bring it home and find a mathc off of that....painting/drywall contractor

Take a sample from a corner, and bring it to a home center. they can duplicate the paint for you. I would check everyplace in your house for some left over paint. Most people save the old cans for this reason.
