Hypothetically: If there is a God, how should he act in your view? Help everyone? Help noone? Not do much, but throw the occasional guy stranded in the desert a canteen full of water?
Or what?

I applaud your question, though it is a bit humorous; for it has been answered millions of times throughout history. Man is constantly making for himself false gods to worship...money, sex, power, buddha, allah, etc, etc, etc. The real God is described in adequate detail throughout the Bible, though mortal man cannot completely fathom an eternal being, three in one, perfect and entire, wanting nothing. Perfect love and mercy combined with perfect justice. How is it possible for a created being to fully grasp the power, knowledge and creativity of his creator? Read the pages of Scripture, especially Psalm 2, 90, & 91. If you do so with an open mind and seek after this incomprehensible God, you may experience His special work of grace.

I suppose my "perfect" God would be a complete abstraction, such as "the Clear Light." But I do not consider that much guidance in the general scheme of things, so I am a pantheist. I do not need a perfect god or goddess, since I have many. They each have some special area of "expertise" and represent certain aspects of human excellence or even perfection.

Also, in a large enough pantheon, there is room for the flawed god or goddess, or even the frightening ones. Death is often represented as a terrible, horrible thing. But what would this world be like if there were no death? What would happen when you got very, very old and tired (or horribly damaged), and there was no exit?

Revelation 3:19&20 all because of Calvary death innocent for our sins, and resurrection. Easter, annual festival commemorating the resurrection of Jesus Christ, and the most important feast of the Christian year. Easter is a joyous occasion because on this day Christians celebrate Christ’s victory over death. To those who believe in Christ, Easter also symbolizes their own participation in his death and rebirth to a new life.

Easter is celebrated on a Sunday yet once Jesus is recieved in heart Easter is every day in the new wonderfull life.

It's absolutely impossible to be perfect, for humans or Gods. There are so many dillemas in the universe, either way you choose would have negative consequences and wrongfulness to it. And that's what we humans and them Gods do, we choose, all the time.
