They are not former Muslims. They claim to be to give some validity to there insults and lies, so that others might believe "well it must be true they used to be a Muslim"
How we as real Muslims can tell they are fakes is there knowledge of Islam is really poor. They say things that are inaccurate and any Muslim knows the basics for goodness sake.
I reverted to Islam over two years ago and never once have i stated or claimed to be a "former Protestant or former atheist". I am secure in who I am and in my faith. Secure people do not need to put down others. Hence they are sad insecure, hateful people. I feel pity and sadness for them nothing else. They want us to hate them, they want us to come back with venomous answers but i for one am not willing to lower my standards to suit any ones agenda.

Terry g - LOL you know you are the biggest "faker out there" former muslim LOL yeah right!

When children born to muslim parents have no other choice than to become mulsim themselves - remember, no choice at all - then of course the religion is growing.
Defecting from islam is extremely dangerous in many islamic countries and so the rate of conversion to other religions or, best option, to atheism, is slowed rather dramatically. Thus, islam is a tyrannical dictatorship. Worse when shariah law is in force.
Given freedom to be or not to be, most westerners seem to want to be free of religion at about the age of 12 to 15. Muslims cannot do this.
Does that help you to understand or are you just being boastful? Do you not accept that SOME muslims have been in a position to be able to have free will and have renounced their former beliefs without the fear of execution?

Here is first hand testimony about Muslims experiencing Miracles from God.

From Heidi Baker Ministries;

OPEN HEAVEN OVER CABO DELGADO

Moslem leaders are admitting that this northernmost
province on the coast of Mozambique, once considered
"unreachable" by missiologists, is being lost to
Christians. The development of our base and missions
school on the largest available piece of property in
the port city of Pemba has caused a major stir. The
Gospel is advancing whole villages at a time as the
Holy Spirit's power is poured out.

How does this happen? Here is one example.

A 22-year-old evangelist we have nurtured in
the Lord, was trying to get a Moslem chief of a
village to grant permission for an outreach. The chief
repeatedly refused. He told him that Jesus would
heal the sick. Finally, the chief asked, "If you come,
will I see that happen?" "Yes!" He answered
simply. So the chief agreed to a meeting in his
village.

On the night of the outreach, the meeting began with a
very quiet, open atmosphere, unlike some gatherings we
have where at first we face loud demonic disruptions.
He preached the pure, simple Gospel and asked,
"Who recognizes their need of a Savior?" Voices cried
out in the dark, "I want forgiveness! I want
forgiveness!" A great noise arose as the people
pleaded for salvation and streamed forward to pray.
Then He announced that he and his team would pray
for the sick. Healings occurred one after another. A
mother brought her eight-year-old boy who was deaf,
and he was instantly healed. He asked the chief,
"Do you see?" Immediately the chief asked for the
microphone and told his own people, "This is real! No
man can do this! Only God can do this! Bring more of
the sick! Bring all the sick!"

One man brought his little 7-year-old daughter who was
totally blind. She received prayer, and her father
urgently asked her, "Do you see?" And then tears began
streaming down his face as his daughter looked and saw
his face for the first time in her life! And the
healings continued that night...

All this last year our outreaches have been frequently
bearing this kind of fruit. We don't preach long or
get complicated. The people respond in simple faith,
and as soon as they see Jesus is real and will touch
them miraculously, they want Him! They want salvation,
they want a church, they want a pastor, now! Their
chiefs beg us, "Don't leave us! You can't leave us
like this! We've never seen miracles like this! You
have to come back and teach us!"

Heidi especially has received a special anointing for
the deaf, blind and lame, and sees them healed at
nearly every outreach. Once she prayed late at night
for a crippled and blind man who was not healed right
away. But she told the village to send a runner to
tell her as soon as he was healed. So then the
following day she was with a good Moslem friend and
leading businessman in town when a runner ran
breathlessly up to the window of the car they were in.
"He is healed! He can walk and see!" The runner had
just run seven hours to tell her... In tears and awe,
our Moslem friend cried, "Pray for me! Pray for me now!"

I think people generally say "former Muslim" or "former" anything when it is relevant to the question they are asking or answering. It helps people understand the point of view of the question or answer.

Why does it bother you?

P.S. I'm a former Christian.

Original "terry g", is our respected sister and their is a clone terry g, that is just a heap of rubbish, she/he say being Pakistani, also she/he is not Pakistani. as no Pakistani can say him/her self as Paki, bcuz Paki is not the name of our nation, like Afghan, Turk, etc are the nations and their countries are Afghanistan, Turkey etc.
I have stopped giving attention to clone terry g, by not answering her questions as she does not ask to know some thing but to bash.

I always find it amusing that people are reporting that. I highly doubt its the fastest growing religion. Why? Because Islam is currently the international "enemy of the people".

Its a story. Propaganda cooked up by Western enemies to make you extremely uncomfortable and upset.

Its part of war tactics.

And the freaky thing is that people are actually foolish enough to fall for it when they should be better than this.
