The Judgement or End of Times?
If an unbeliever dies before the Tribulation, he/she goes to hell. No if's, and's or but's. Though some may say, 'Why would a God who loves us send us to hell?' The answer is, He didn't. God created heaven for angels/man and hell for Satan/his demons(followers). Unfortunately, man has chosen to be a follower of Satan, thus being a willing canadate for hell.
If an unbeliever sees the rapture and does not repent, he/she still goes to hell.
If an unbeliever sees the rapture and repents, and thus denys the anti-Christ, they go to heaven. Same if they repent now.

When they die they go to hell to await their judgement which will be AFTER the Milliennium, Rev. 20: 5-15 And the rest of the dead lived not again until the 1000 yrs were finished. 14: And death & hell were cast into the lake of fire.

2 Peter 2:1 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. 2 And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of. 3 And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not. 4 For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment; 5 And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly; 6 And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly; 7 And delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked: 8 (For that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds;)

Who cares?
Hedge your bets: if someone offers you eternal life, take it for Pete's sake!
Don't be a moron and say to yourself, "Hmm...maybe I just don't want to until I have some more proof."
That's like falling from an airplane and saying, "You know, I really don't want to pull the string on this parachute because I really don't have any proof that I'll hit the ground. I think I'll just wait."
