I need a compact camera,which can make video and photo.I want it to use memory cards. I don't know anything about cameras.It will be my first camera, and it should be not too expensive.Can you help me?

Can't have everything.
Best I've heard of is the Canon TX1 at $500
Some people hear have had good luck for Sony and Kodak cameras in the $150-$200 range, but I can't warraty you can edit those videos or put them on DVDs easily.

A Fuji F20 is a great camera for pictures and video. About $140.
It's pretty simple, and takes beautiful shots.
There are many more to chose from, like the Canon A series, Sony's and Olympus, etc.
