Because Jack Chick is the kind of paranoid nutter who sees a demonic conspiracy every time the Pope belches or the President uses the word "pancakes" in a sentence. And who is the ultimate source of all of these nefarious international plots against Christians?

You got it -- none other than Satan himself. To hear a Chick tract tell it, all us Catholics and the Jews (and anybody else who doesn't believe the way that Jack does) are demon-possessed, Devil-blinded heretics headed to hell in a hand basket.

So by devoting so much time to him, Jack Chick has inadvertently become one of Satan's best press agents.

Chick Tracts are hardly glorifying Satan. Have you ever seen one? If anything, they are very adamant in the denouncing of Satan. There's one about Halloween that's a hoot. The people who read them and take them seriously have issues.

Jack Chick believes that people die three months after being infected with the AIDS virus and that an acquaintance of his indirectly caused the death of someone who swindled him (the friend) by not praying for him.

I have a real hard time taking him seriously.

I thought that people read them for a laugh. Don't tell me that someone takes Jack Chick seriously.

No, the people who laugh at Jack Chick comics are devil worshipers. The people who nod at them, or distribute them, are Christians.
