When these individuals wrote Muslim, they were saying no alcohol and no pork products, but they could also have been saying that any meat that is used must be Halal, which includes a particular method of slaughtering the animal. Some but not all Muslims will accept Kosher meat as a substitute for halal, because they are guaranteed that there will be no pork. In addition, the blessings that are said just prior to killing the animals are similar. But that's some Muslims and not all.
The very best way to deal with cultural and religious guidelines is to serve a completely vegetarian meal. By doing so, you are offending no one with your choice of types of meats or seafoods and with the preparations thereof.
The Italian food place will be able to do wonders with that set of conditions while most "regular" catering companies will find themselves to be tremendously and possibly overwhelmingly challenged by it.
You get a star for this one, because you are doing what you can to accomodate everyone you will be working with. Too many people wouldn't care.

Muslims can only eat food that is halaal.
By halaal, it means that they cannot eat pig or dog meat or anything that is contaminated by these two animals.
Halaal also means that, that food which is permissible should be slaughtered humanely ie. you cannot shoot the animal or torture it and then eat it. They have to be slaughtered by thanking God and in His name.
Generally, I have found that when Muslims travel, they will avoid meat as they are not sure about its origins.
It is best to offer Muslims vegetarian food when travelling.
If they do eat meat, they'll only eat chicken.
Lastly, it is not a big issue about eating sufficiently when travelling as Muslims are used to fasting one month, every year. I have survived on cheese sandwiches for a whole week.

Go to a doctor. You are depressed. The Quran cannot help you with this, as you are obviously finding out. It could be a chemical imbalance. It doesn't have to the Satan. Everything that Islam says is just a cop out. Oh it's Satan...oh pray...oh Allah knows best. No real answers. It's not wrong to tell people of your sins. Another Islamic error. It is healing and helpful to tell of your sins. That is how you get forgiveness. That is how you get reasonable advice. Jesus is the Prince of Peace. He said He will take your burdens. Allah can't do that. Neither can Muhammad. I wonder why? Because they are not God.

A Muslim will appreciate it much if you could:
1. refrain from using pork and derivates of pork.
2. refrain from using alcohol in food.
3. refrain from using meat that belongs to carnivores.
4. refrain from using meat that has not been slaughtered with the name of God. Most Muslims find a way around this by eating Kosher food. Because thats what Kosher is.

Avoid anything that comes from pigs. Also make sure their food does not get into contact with pork etc. As for "halal slaughtered" meat, that may not be a very big issue unless your guests are strict Muslims. Chicken, fish, vegs would solve the problem. Make sure they are not cooked in the same pans/pots with pork. Similar to Jewish kosher.

Muslims do not eat pork at all and most do not eat other meat either unless it is slaughtered according to islamic guidlines. So I think it would be easier for you to order some food besides meat that they would be able to eat. Everything else is fine

If they are strict, they probably want halal meat and of course no pig products. The safest bet is for you to get a vegetarian item or two - this way you can please the Muslims, the Jews, the Hindus and the vegetarians all in one shot. Watch out for rennet in cheese though - the last three won't like that.
Much easier for everyone rather than trying to procure halal meat and ensuring its authenticity.

Muslim law is just like Orthodox Jewish law when it comes to food. No pork, and no fish unless it has both fins and scales. Also, no shellfish, shrimp or lobster. I'd just tell the caterer you want two kosher lunches. They'll know what to do.

As long as it is not pork. Try lamb or goat. My sister inlaw is also a Muslim and she will eat anything at our table but pork. We do not have that when we know she is coming. There are many non pork Italian dishies to eat many meatless......
