Hi at 24 weeks you should be under the care of a OB Gyn. In your first visit they will run all the test necesarry including all STD's and AIDS. Most STD's are very easy to treat and if you are diagnosed with one you will probably be cured by your due date. If you have let's say Herpes (wich is controllable but not curable) the doctor will take the desicion shortly before the delivery. The most common STD is the HPV and as long as you don't have warts you can have a normal delivery. For your safety and the baby's the best thing to do is to go to your doctor and let him knows all your concern. Good luck!

Yes it can effect your baby have you seen a Dr. Also you should have blood work done to see if you an thing wrong with you . Some STD's that go untreated can cause stillborn babies or medical problems later in life with children.

Go to your OB/GYN and get tested. There is no reason to list STDs that may or may not harm a fetus when you really don't think you even have a STD.

You are still at risk for STIs if you are pregnant. The blood barrier will protect the baby from some illnesses, however, many things can pass through the placenta and affect the baby -- like alcohol.

Some STIs like HIV, can be passed to the baby during childbirth (by blood) or through breatfeeding.

many std can harm your baby...like syphills, herpes, hpv, hiv, and others....they can cause your baby to be still born, be blind at birth, contract the std from you and only live to age 5 or 6, have birth defects...and many others...
