So my sister came home the other day and told me that she has a doctors appointment Monday because she may have chlamydia. I'm very scared because I dunno much about this. I was wondering if like, this disease can be transmitted through like, razors or something like that?

It can be transferred only with body fluid during the sex or childbirth. It can be treated. So do not be paranoid and mistreat her she has done mistake and she is all ready going through a tough time. She has been honest to you to let you know her health status. Do not share undergarment and towel if you want to take an extra precaution. Spartan

it probably can get transmitted through razors if u guys use the same razor that she use for her private area (and i hope u guys dont).
as long as u too dont share the same underwear or "use the same razors" then everything should be fine.
tell her to bring u home some information about STDs.
or maybe u could type in STD into yahoo search then find a site where u can learn more about the diffrent types of diseases from.
and tell ur sister to be more careful because she can get somethin she cant get rid of like HIV or AIDS. tell her to cherish her life and "wrap it up" next time.

Its possible, but I know that with the pill i'm on I have to miss 3 days in a row before I'm at risk. Did she miss 3 pills in a row? What kind of pregnancy test did she use? Some of the ones out now can give an accurate reading like 5 days before a missed period. She should go get checked out by her OB/GYN. They will be able to tell if she is pregnant or not just by looking at her cervix or doing a quick blood test. In this situation the sooner she knows the better, in case she doesn't want to continue the pregnancy.

No chlamydia is not contagious in that sense. They can only be passed on through sex and bodily fluids. Your sister is fine, but you should be supportive. I wouldn't share razors or bath stuff with her for this time.

All i have to say is never share things like razors as these are things that comes into contact with blood. It is also not a good idea to share toothbrushes. Your sis will be fine, just never share underwear with her lol.

Nope nothing to worry about it is transfered only by sexual contact. And 7 days of antibiotics will clear the clamydia up.

Just don't have sex with her and don't touch her anywhere.....I know that is sick, but that is basically the only ways you can get it is by sexual contact.....Don't let other people fool you, chlamydia can be cured with antibiotics in like 5 to 10 days.....
Hope I helped. ....
