I would look in the yellow pages and call differant rental places. Ask them if you can serve your own food and decorate yourself. Some places have a kitchen for that purpose and will allow it.
Look under banquet halls, sportsmans clubs,VW halls, etc. If you would like your festivities to be outdoors, check under parks and recreation.
You can rent a pavillion and provide your own stuff. Good Luck!!

You're talking about looking for a space?
Just look under "Halls" or "Halls and Auditoriums" in the phone book or look in your city's park and recreaction website. Some cities have rooms or buildings you can rent for parties.
Also, you can try a local church...
a service organization (Masonic Lodge, Elks Lodge, Eagle's Lodge).

Ms. Angie B.
As an Event Designer/Coordinator I am always looking for that perfect spot, but not every place allows you to bring in your own food. Try this website:
www.eventective.com
Good Luck

This may be difficult. My suggestion would be to check out some fire houses.
