For a few days now, I've had these short episodes of shortness of breath where I have to keep yawning. My brother (med student) says that since I'm a teen still, my diaphram is growing and it's normal. But, today my heart sort of skipped a beat, it was scary as that is rare for me, and I had that yawning shortness of breath thing again. Is this normal for my age? Or.....

looks like you are growing.us could also be related to drugs or lack of sleep.

No it is perfectly normal, brothers are always like that, specially if they are a med. student. They will study phsiology , pathology etc. on younger sisters/brother, but girl get worried too soon.

you might have to do deep breathing when this happens=good luck
