I'm guessing you are talking about freezing off warts, right?
I have had HPV for 6 years. I had genital warts from it about a year ago. I used Aldara cream on my warts and they went away in a about a month and have never came back. I've personally never tried freezing.
It's very common for warts to come back though once they have been treated. Some people have to have warts treated multiple times.
Have you ever thought about a different treatment, like burning them off, or even some cream like Aldara?
Good luck!

Unfortunately there is no way to tell who gave you the virus unless you have only had sexual contact with one person. HPV is a virus that hides in the dermal cells and presents itself in the form of a wart. Current literature states that individuals who contract HPV will usually carry the virus for 2-4 years before the body clears or the virus goes into remission. An important detail is that there are few of other strains of HPV that affect the genital area and if you are not in a monogamous relationship you could contract anyone of the them and start new with the process of clearing that certain type (virus) out of your body.
So to answer the question yes the warts may come back after each treatment, but if you practice safe sex, and have a monogamous relationship eventually your body will put the infection in remission.
If you are between the ages of 9-26 you should discuss getting the HPV vaccine. Even though you already have HPV it will still protect you from the strains of HPV that are most associated with cervical cancer.
Hope this helps good luck and always be safe.

I had HPV. I went to a doctor about it and she said that the freezing doesn't work cuz it's a different kind of bacterial infection. I tried this stuff aldera and it worked for maybe a week then nothing. Eventuelly she changed to this Acidic stuff that made them turn white and develop scabs. ( I know, gross right?) well they went away after a few treatments and I have a few small scars from it but the bumps are gone. check at your local free clinic or doctor about it.

first of all, for sure you observed a doctor to prescribe you doxycycline. Doxycycline provides you you diarrhea. secondly, you haven't any longer given the antibiotic adequate time to artwork. it fairly is taken any the place from 7-10 days. do no longer stress approximately this section. you may seize HPV out of your g-pal.it rather is the reason for her to get cervical maximum cancers. it rather is why the FDA has got here out with new vaccine to help the unfold of it to diminish cervical maximum cancers. Your enamel have easily no longer something to do with this. You and your g'pal the two could bypass and have an STD panel executed at your community wellbeing branch or docs workplace. this can be the only way which you would be able to positioned your recommendations comfortable, there is not any opposite direction around it. while you're grown up adequate to have intercourse, then you definitely could be grown up and not afraid to get examined. it is not a delightful adventure, yet you would be able to desire to bypass to an area HIV middle(seem it up on the internet) and choose for private sorting out. they prick your finger and it takes 10 minutes and voila~your effect. that's the only mature and responsible element to do. i individually think of it's going to be mandatory for all and sundry to get checked two times/year on the least-in accordance with their sexual promescuiety. continuously prepare secure intercourse!!

There are 100+ strains of HPV and roughly one third of them can be sexually transmitted. There is no "cure". For most people it doesn't present a problem. You may or may not have recurrences as your body adjusts to the virus. It is not abnormal - but you should discuss your concerns with your doctor.

I had it- I had a LEEP not freezing.
The LEEP is more effective. Either you keep getting exposed or your doctor is not removing enough. Ask him/her about a different procedure.
