Asking for help is good. You should send a memo to see how many people volunteer to bring something. You should just order something catered since it's so little people it really wont be that expensive. You should bring little baskets with Easter eggs inside for decoration and a nice cake with a bunny on top could be really cute too. Also make sure you precent the food nice make sure the trays you use aren't expensive but look nice you could find some good ones at the 99 cent store

First of all, since it's Good Friday, are you sure that most people will be there? Some folks take that day off to begin the Easter Celebration. Secondly, a potluck is a really good idea, but if most folks are having family for dinner on Sunday, they might not want to do anymore cooking than necessary. Nevertheless, I think potlucks are the way to go. So, send out your invites and list of categories of foods to bring, so you don't end up with all deviled eggs or desserts! A dish for you? Well, here are some ideas for side dishes and dessert:

1. Potatos au gratin
2. Asparagas wrapped in prosciutto
3. Brie en croute (brie baked in puff pastry, served with crackers)
4. Fruit skewers with a vanilla, brown sugar sour cream dipping sauce
5. Chocolate dipped strawberries
6. Hawaiian Wedding Cake (yellow cake made in a 13X9 inch baking pan, topped with vanilla pudding, crushed pineapple, coconut and Cool Whip)
7. Baked potato casserole (yukon gold potatos cooked in chicken broth, mashed with sliced green onion, sour cream, butter, cheddar cheese)

In my office when we want to have a potluck, as you are having, we find out how many are participating and then make a list, so if 9 were participating it would look like:

Main Dish
1.
2.
3.
Side dish
1.
2.
3.
Drinks
1.
2.
Paperplates & Plasticware
1.

Then people sign their names by a number and what write what they are going to bring to help the next person decide what to bring, works out just fine, have fun.

I use to do a meal that incorporated all my fellow sisters at church.Make it a salad potluck.Ask each what they want to bring.Get them to reply on what they are bringing, then make a list of who and what.If anythu ing is missing that is what you bring.Don't be afraid to ask each to bring 2 items.Good luck with it.Use fancy baskets to hold the dressings or plates and napkins.
