i got hsv 1,my bf wants to know if we wanna have baby then we should have unprotection sex.dose that mean he must get herpes from me??????pls tell me more info about this,pls help,both of us love each other so much,and he dosent know anything about herpes,pls we need your help,im so happy that i have bf like him always be my side,and i wanna help him without getting herpes from me,pls help

HSV1 is typically cold sores, but it can cause genital herpes. I personally have genital herpes caused by HSV1. Do you have cold sores or genital herpes?

If you have cold sores then you boyfriend can get them from you by simply just kissing you. Kissing someone with cold sores is the most common way of spreading them.

If you have genital herpes caused by HSV1 then you can spread it to him by having sex with him or any DIRECT genital skin to skin contact with him.

If you are worried about him getting herpes from you, the best thing you can do (other than abstinence) is ALWAYS use condoms. Condoms are not 100% effective in preventing any STD, but they help a lot.

hsv 1 is not the bad one. it's typically oral, facial, but can be genital. no need to bother him with that because it's nothing more than a bothersome cold sore.

now hsv 2 is genital herpes and that is a problem requiring medical managment. check with your gynecologist.
