Wow, I couldn't believe it!! I just ate some Boca Chik'n Nuggets and it tasted and had the same texture as the real thing!!! A week ago, I had some Vegan Meatballs, they were extremely nasty. I also had Morning star soy burger, that was ok at best. Any others that are good?

Try I'ves company. Veggie Cajun chicken slices.
Don't get hooked on mock meat and depend on it
too much though. Too much sodium. Make sure
and eat beans, nuts, or lentils and mix with grain
from time to time.

I eat soy sausage and like it but to be honest I have never had the real thing. I have made soy chorizo for people before who do eat pork and they say they soy is better. I have had soy burgers and I like the real burgers better. I can't tell much difference in soy nuggets and chicken nuggests or real cheese and soy cheese (if added to something like pizza). I think it depends on the product and who makes it.

I spent a lot of time avoiding meatless meat after going to an Adventist high school that used Loma Linda products. But later on, the one thing I found that I really, really liked was a fake sausage called "Gimmie Lean" (like Jimmy Dean, get it?). It was tasty, had a good texture, and best of all was nowhere near as greasy as the real deal.

I thought that flame broiled gardenburgers are okay.

I haven't eaten some of the brands mentioned, but a lot of the Chinese stuff is good if you can find it (some Asian grocery stores carry them) since they've been making this stuff for decades. See what they are making at these site:

I've had stuff like the "chicken drumsticks" and they are good.

I've had the vegeking/vegefarm hot dog/chicken chunks/Spanish Mackrel, etc..these are all very good.

Personally I don't eat too much of this since it's processed food, but not greasy like actual meat.

I like the Boca products. I don't really expect it to be exactly like meat, though. I use the burger crumbles for pasta and chili and it comes out good.

Smart Bacon tastes kinda like terriyaki jerky. not much like bacon, but is very good. soyrizo is fake chorizo and a lot better than the real thing. its tastes real, but doesnt have the weird nerve parts that the meat has

Morning Star bacon strips and breakfast sausage are ok substitutes. The bacon is better than the sausage but since real bacon and sausage are high in fat it won't taste quite the same.

I think they're mostly nasty. I eat vegan boca burgers sometimes when I really want a burger. Other than that, my motto is: If you don't eat meat, don't pretend to eat meat.

I like Tofurky, their huge meatless hot dogs have 30 grams of protein, good to eat after a nice workout.
