Happy Birthday, you are much nicer than I am, on my birthday I don't do more than wake up and get dressed. But since you are nice enough to be providing refreshment for your party, here are a couple things that I really enjoy. Go to the local grocery store, or bakery and get a fresh loaf of french or italian bread, some vinigar and some olive oil. you pour the oil and vinigar over a plate, and add a little pepper and then break off pieces of bread and dip them into your mixture, it's delicious with wine. Or, you can simply go the more traditional rout and make bagel pizzas, a bag of those small bagels, some shredded cheese, and some bacon or ham or even veggies, bake till golden brown, and serve...you can be as creative with these as you want.
