In Israel we eat hummus, all kinds of salads and fresh veggies. We eat just about anything that you eat in the states...there is even a McDonalds in all major cities.

The same as any other eastern mediterranean country, except that you won't always find pork products.
All cuisines are based on what is fresh, seasonal amd locally available, so why would there be a difference?

they have these weird chocolate cookies that are really good, i forget the name...and they have cheeto type things that are peanut butter flavor. they also eat like matzo balls and matzo pancakes which are rele fricken good. unfortunately no piggy :(
