I had sex with a girl when she was on her period, and the condom ripped after a while but right when it ripped i took it out and stopped. After that her friend said she "heard" she has an std. If she does what are the chances of me catching it? will i get it for sure? How long should i wait till i get tested

Her friend may be full of it; that's nasty gossp. However, there is a chance that she has one, many people do. You may not get it for sure, it depends on what it is. Call your doctor's office or the local health clinic and ask. Generally, it would be two weeks before herpes would break out on you or HIV would show up on a test, maybe three weeks.

Symptoms usually start showing up in about 2 weeks for the most common STDs. Buy, why wait? A simple test can provide a faster answer to your question, and you don't have to wait to get it.
Abstinence is the best way to avoid getting an STD or a girl pregnant!!

It depends on what STD. You can always ask your doctor when a good time to be tested is. But I would assume the sooner the better. But, ask the girl if your that worried, rumors are nasty things, so you may be stressed for no reason. Cover your bases better safe than sorry

you should get tested but it is said that it is harded for the male to catch an STD from the female than it is turned around, so if it is that one time and you stoped right away you should be safe. good luck

Hello young sir,
Stop worrying and go to the docs, they will test you, have them test you for HPV too because you could have it and wouldnt want to spread it around you know it can be dangerous. As far as chances, that would depend on her body and yours and I dont know what goes on in either one your bodies. For sure, I dont know. And for the last part, immediately.

I would recommend getting tested right away. This is not something you want sitting in the back of your mind stressing you out.

GO AND GET TESTED, EVEN IF YOU HAVE NOTHING IT WILL PUT YOUR MIND AT REST. YOU'LL NEVER KNOW TILL YOU GET A TEST AND ITS NOTHING TO BE EMBARRASED ABOUT. DONT PUT IT OFF JUST COS YOU HAVE NO SYMPTOMS COS SOME DONT SHOW UP FOR MONTHS
