You are having allergies which cause sinus infections that seem to last forever. You need to stay on allergy medication for a while. The sinus cavities are inflamed and cause the drainage which results in irritated throat. The mucous does drain into your throat. You need to spit this stuff out and pay attention to the color (gross!!) because if it becomes yellow or greenish, you have an infection and need antibiotics. See your Doctor. If you already have medicine, be sure you continue to use it. Good luck

Your doctor has already told you the problem. Postnasal drip. You don't HAVE to feel it. You feel the effects OF it. PND is caused by allergies but it can in turn cause bronchitis and other URIs. Stop smoking for life and for your life. And see an allergist.

You have not got a 2 month cold. It is a respiratory infection and needs medical attention before it becomes pneumonia.

if it has lasted that long it isn't the common cold. I would definitely check with my physician, you could be having an allergic reaction to that habit u enjoy.

Take Mucinex with cough surpressant.
Although you need to take it consistently for a few days for it to work.

chronic i believe is what you mean. and what you can do is go to the pharmacy and pick up some claritin (and if it is really bad some claritin-D). believe me a nice decongestant will help.
