I really don't recommend that you buy one second hand as they only last about two to three years with continuous use. They are relatively inexpensive (about $125.00) and most insurance companies cover the cost when prescribed by a physician. They can be obtain by script through home care companies or pharmacies. Talk to your doctor when you see her/him about your asthma as they are the person writing the prescription for the medication that you will be using anyway.

I think you are talking about a nebulizer for allergies and or respiratory problems. They are prescribed by a Doctor and you will need prescription medication. Insurance does pay for them, although if you locate one that is in good working condition, it can be sterilized and used. Good luck.
