how about gold discs?
1) Old Lp's and records as well as picture frames (with picture removed) are cheap as chips in any charity shop (they dont really need to be elvis).
2) A can of gold spray paint can be bought anywere.
3) Mask off the centre of the record
4) spray gold, leave to dry
5) Utalise your computer and print off pictures of the stars relating to that particular record.
6) arrange in the frame with a background to look like the real thing.
7) Hang several around the room. If anything they'll be an interesting conversation peice.
Serve peanut butter and banana toasted sandwiche's.
(there famous for being his favourite food)
Print of musical notes etc. Cut them out and stick everywere.
leave little clue decorations around the place

You could even make a drinking game of this one. Go around the house and find all the song related clue's. The first one to find them all gets a bottle of plonk.
A good one for ANY party when you dont have a bundle to spend and is one i have used my self.
Make a large cylinder of card with loads of holes about the size of an egg cup. Cover the holes from the back with coloured gel paper (available for pence from any art shop).
Replace the bulb in the room with a low heat 60 Watt bulb.
Hand the tube from the light fitting so they bulb hangs inside.
The room is filled with different coloured lights and totally adds to the party feel. (just be sure to use a low watt bulb though)
Sounds like a cool party. I wanna come. I expect my invite in the post by tomorrow morning :)
