Oriental Rice Warmers... can be pot holder size and they can sit casserole dishes on them or put into coolers to keep things like bar b q warm.. or you can make them coffee cup size and place under coffee cups or soup bowls.
Buy enough material (oriental looking and colors)
Cut *2* squares or circles or what ever shape you wish.
Sew the square with right sides together leaving a small opening. Turn right side out and fill with just enough rice so it will lay flat with about 3/8 " thickness about it ... then sew opening closed... to help it lay flat you may want to tie it much the way a quilt is tied...
My niece made me one years ago and I use it for my coffee cup, soup bowl and in the cooler to keep the chili warm when we go for an outing in the winter time.. (yes... i said that = smiles)
Just place in microwave for 30 sec to warm.. stays warm for hours...

Stiff neck? make one the size to go around your neck ***or whatever*** and fill with rice.. let your imagination station run wild on this one... lol

I went to an oriental theme party. On the place settings there was a little oriental fan for all of us to keep!

Yes, I know some of the 99cents stores or even some the african american beauty supply store that are owned by oriental people have the cutest little purses . You could get these. Or little clutch purse. Another cute thing would be maybe chopsticks I some different colorful one's at target place it on the plate with each girls pic on it. Tell them to use them as hair pins. Or at target also they have cute little sake kits as well. Oriental trading have the fans as well.

hit an asian market or a party store and check out all the cool stuff. if you are crafty you could make the girls picture frames with small japanese symbols on them, then during the party you could snap a few pictures and give the girls the pictures for their frames.

Instead of buying gifts that you will not know if your guests will like or want, spend the money on a chinese coin reader or someone who reads tea leaves. Women love that stuff and everyone will have a good time.

a nice set of chopstix
chinese takeout containers filled with candy or some other treat
belts/scarfs made from oriental silk
wooden thongs (for the feet :) )

This web site has many things you could offer as favors at your party, at a very small cost. They also have decorations that you might find useful. When you get there, do a search for chinese parties.

Those folding fans would be neat, or chopstick sets, incense burners-----go to a dollar store & see what they have!

get chinese food boxes from your craft store.
fill the insides with some shredded paper (resembling noodles)
put in various candies, chocolates.
close the box.
take a pair of chopsticks (nice ones, not the ones you get from the local chinese food rest.) and tie it to the metal chinese food box holder. ( the handle) using some nice ribbon, then you can take some paper tags and write the girls name on it.

Kimonos, woden (flip flops), bags of Chinese tea.
If you go to a store like claire's you can find a lot of stuff.
