Go to grouprecipes.com
It is a community website for cooking and baking.
Allrecipes.com is a good place, too. People who have tried the recipes give reviews and ratings, also adding if they changed the recipe somehow. Knowing if the recipe can work with other ingredients can be valuable, in case you don't have an ingredient in the house.
You might want to start with quick breads. They have that name because they do not contain yeast and so they do not take too long to make. Yeast breads will need to rise once or even twice as part of the preparation. Each rising takes 30-60 minutes. But the breads can be worth it!

Basic Bread Loaf
Ingredients
2 tsp. dry yeast
1 1/2 cups warm water
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. melted butter, vegetable oil, or heavy cream
3 1/2 cups unbleached white flour (or 2 1/2 cups white and 1 cup whole wheat flour mixed)
Directions
Dissolve the yeast in the bowl. When it has softened, add melted butter and salt. Stir in the flour with a wooden spoon until it becomes too difficult to manage. Turn the dough out onto a well-floured board and let it rest--absorbing more of the flour--while you clean out and oil the bowl. Knead the dough, working in additional flour as needed, until it is smooth and elastic (about 5 minutes).
Return the dough to the bowl and cover with a damp towel. Leave it to rise for about 1 1/2 hours until it has doubled in bulk.
Punch the dough down with floured hands. Put the loaf in a preheated 425-degree oven, for the first 15 minutes, then turn the oven down to 350 degrees for another 15-20 minutes. Take the bread out of the pan; it should sound hollow when tapped on the bottom. Allow it to cool thoroughly on a rack before slicing.
Good Luck!

Honey Wheat Bread
1 package active dry yeast
2 1/2 cups warm water (105 to 110 degrees)
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup honey
1/3 cup molasses
5 tablespoons butter, softened
3 to 5 cups all-purpose flour
2 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
1 cup medium rye flour
Grease 2 loaf pans, 8x4 or 9x5-inch.
Dissolve yeast in warm water in a large mixing bowl. Measure 1 1/2 cups flour into the bowl, along with salt, honey, molasses, butter, and the whole wheat flour. Beat for 2 to 3 minutes on medium speed of electric mixer. Stir in rye flour and about 1 1/2 cups of flour, until dough pulls away from sides of bowl.
On a floured surface, knead in more all-purpose flour until dough is smooth and elastic, about 10 minutes. Place dough in a large greased bowl; turn so both sides are greased. Cover bowl with a sheet of plastic wrap and clean dish towel. Let rise in a warm place, about 80° free from drafts for about 1 1/2 hours.
Punch dough down; knead a few times to remove air bubbles. Divide; shape into 2 loaves. Place into the greased pans. Cover with a cloth and let rise in a warm place for 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
Bake in a preheated 350° oven for 35 to 45 minutes. Loaves will sound hollow when lightly tapped. Remove from pans and cool on racks.
