Yes, I know that most stories of angels outside the bible are most likely myth, but that is what I'm looking for, angels from bible and myth. I want names and books where i can find them.

Angels do not exist.
Run the online scan at http://housecall.trendmicro.com
Then download spyware doctor (you can find it using a web search), run that to eliminate spyware.

On a daily basis it is said by many metaphysical enlightened individuals that we are surround by an aura of divine spirits.
The famous Psychic Syilva Brown,(http://www.sylvia.org/home/index.cfm) has written two book on the topic of angels.
She declares that there are different variations of spiritual beings, called angels.
Although I am not entirely sure of all of the species of angels; I can tell you they are messengers of a divine being.
With out a divine, there would be no angels, whom are illuminations of a Superior reality, and a Superior being.
Angels are said to wrap there wings around us, and fill us with inspiration.
They are said to guide us in the direction that the divine wishes us to take.
They are the thoughts which encompass serenity, and more importantly the creation of men.
Yet since you are doing a essay or whatever it is, on this fabrication I will not get into why they are just figments of the mind.
Here are some websites you can go to find out more.

If you go to the book of Revelations- I think around ch 10 you will see one angel that talked to John in heaven was one of the fellow servants of God. John thought to worship him and he (angel) said not to for that reason. So I think there are some martyrs in heaven (under the altar) and some people that may be angels. Angel means messenger so in the 1st 3 chapters of revelations those angels of the 7 churches could be people I suppose. Hope that give you more material. Also in Judges there was an angel that appeared to Manoah about the birth of Samson I think. Angels came to Sodom and Gomorrah too!

There's more to this than many here know. At one time the term "angel" was used to refer to a senior clergyman. They've also been noted to be of the same stature as God, but when the theologians of that day decided that there was only 1 God, the angels were relegated to the status of messenger.

Just be careful. Most information you will find on the subject will be mythology and speculation. There are also many names given to this or that angel that are completely made up and completely without biblical reference.
As for your computer related issues. Use google to search for sites that relate to your particular infestation. Hijackthis logs are helpful and there are some sites that guide you through the cleaning process using logs from the software. Good luck.

Lewis Sperry Chafer has a Systemic Theology and in it he
has studied the Doctrine of Angelology. You may find something on the web. L.S. Chafer is deceased and I have
his 8 volume set. It's very good. There may be others you may
find. Type in systemic theology see what you get.
Computer problem I can't help. Sorry. :(

The one and true source for information on angels would be the holy bible.
If you have one with a reference section, you will be able to look up angel and it will give you all the places in the bible where angels are mentioned.
There are many. One of my favorites is the angels that were put in charge of disposing of the fleshly body of Moses. They were in such disagreement as to what to do with his body, that God came down and sent them home and disposed of Moses body himself.
Happy hunting, it is always fun to read the actual word of God to get your truthful knowledge, then read mans writings and you will be able to tell the biblical truth from human desires about who and what angels are.

St. Augustine says: "'Angel' is the name of their office, not of their nature. If you seek the name of their nature, it is ‘spirit'; if you seek the name of their office, it is ‘angel': from what they are, ‘spirit,' from what they do, ‘angel.'"
With their whole beings the angels are servants and messengers of God. Because they "always behold the face of my Father who is in heaven" they are the "mighty ones who do his word, hearkening to the voice of his word."
As purely spiritual creatures angels have intelligence and will: they are personal and immortal creatures, surpassing in perfection all visible creatures, as the splendor of their glory bears witness.
From the Incarnation to the Ascension, the life of the Word incarnate is surrounded by the adoration and service of angels.
When God "brings the firstborn into the world, he says: ‘Let all God's angels worship him.'" (Heb 1:6)
Their song of praise at the birth of Christ has not ceased resounding in the Church's praise: "Glory to God in the highest!" (Lk 2:14)
They protect Jesus in his infancy, serve him in the desert, strengthen him in his agony in the garden, when he could have been saved by them from the hands of his enemies as Israel had been. (Cf. Mt 1:20; 2:13, 19; 4:11; 26:53; Mk 1:13; Lk 22:43; 2 Macc 10:29-30; 11:8)
Again, it is the angels who "evangelize" by proclaiming the Good News of Christ's Incarnation and Resurrection. (Cf. Lk 2:8-14; Mk 16:5-7)
They will be present at Christ's return, which they will announce, to serve at his judgment. (Cf. Acts 1:10-11; Mt 13:41; 24:31; Lk 12:8-9)
With love in Christ.
