Cold sores (a form of herpes) are easily transmitted by kissing someone who has them.
You could also get a cold if the person is sick, or even mono. Mono is even sometimes called "the kissing disease".

You are more likely to catch their cold if the person is sick. Very easy to catch their herpes virus too...

well this is in the wrong section first, seeing as how you can't sexually transmit a disease through kissing.
anyway you can get mononucleiosis from someone who has it, or hepatitis A, which include cold sores.
