i love the stuff !
For me its all nice but my fave is black-bean dishes or curry for a main meal.Duck and pancake rolls are a real treat along with spare ribs ... Mmm enjoy !
If you are not sure what to try , why not go to a Chinese restaurant that has a buffet service .You can try a mixed variety of dishes for about £10 .

One big thing you have to consider is whether you like spicy food. Some Chinese dishes are spicy; some of these can be ordered leaving the spice out. For instance, General Tso's Chicken is usually listed as a spicy dish, it can also be enjoyed for its sweet flavor.
Another thing to consider is whether you will eat the food shortly after it is prepared (at a restaurant) or after more time has elapsed (takeout). A tempura dish (with meat, fish, and/or vegetables fried in a batter coating) is best eaten at the restaurant because the time delay and the container will steam the food, making the coating less crunchy.
Fried rice is popular, and if you are the kind of person who likes a bit of everything, then pick what is usually called House Fried Rice, which will come with shrimp, chicken, and pork.
If you like vegetables, there are some good dishes that include various Chinese vegetables (shitake mushrooms, Chinese radish (crunchy) and bok choy (healthy). You could also consider dishes with asparagus. Yum!

you have to try for yourself, everyone has different taste for Chinese dishes. avoid most regular Chinese restaurants or buffet places. if you can find a Chinese restaurant that mostly is frequented by Chinese customer, try the Chinese menu and be open minded.

If you are new to chinese food, go with beef broccoli or mandarin chicken they are the least scary for people afraid of ethnic food.
