You could always invite his friends over and rent movies or you could do like a beach theme or
a pool party.
This is a simple party, but the Birthday Girl or Guy will like it, trust me. Plus if you have a budget, it is cool to have everyone bring something and then everyone pays for their movie ticket themselves.

Ideas for an informal 16th party can take advantage of the classic teen foods like pizza, ice cream sundaes, sub sandwiches, nachos, and lots of soda. When thinking about a more “sweet” party, consider sixteen delicate and tiny birthday cakes . Another idea is to keep the guest list to sixteen friends.be creative n do by ur own!cn safe money alot!

How about a party where the guest of honor opens sixteen mystery boxes to find one final gift tucked inside? Or a cluster of small items like sixteen favorite candy bars, sixteen colors of nail polish, sixteen gift certificates to favorite fast food restaurants or sixteen movie tickets?
What about invitations for your sweet 16 party?

Invitations to your party could be presented on candy bar wrappers for the chocolate fiend. For mystery, you could send out a small key enclosed in each of the sixteen invitations. Once your guests arrive, let them try their luck at opening a small chest which contains sixteen small prizes. Keep in mind that often the most creative and appreciated items are the inexpensive ones!

Decide what you can afford to spend on the party. Stick to it. Pick an inexpensive location. Parks and backyards are perfect for large groups of friends. I hope you have fun

Ask one of your friends parents if you can arrange a house party at their house. If they say yes, then get together with a group of your friends to create a planning committee to discuss decorations and food. Include one or both of the parents whose home you will use.

If you can't do it at anyone's house, then how about at your local ice rink, pizza parlor, or bowling alley? The idea of a party is to get everyone together to have fun and it doesn't have to cost a bundle!

All go out to dinner. Organize your friends to all meet up for dinner but tell them that each will pay for themselves.
