Yes you can. And to those who think that its not fair to the child, need to look at the statistics of people living with HIV. They can have long and relatively healthy lives because of all of the medication out there now. HIV and AIDS are not considered a death sentence anymore. Sometimes the medications can fail, but for the most part they are very effective.

yes... but is if fair to the child.

dont you think a child deserves to have it's parents there for his hs graduation???

sorry... this is a sore subject for me. My cousin passed away from AIDS leaving behind her 7 year old son.

He's 15 now... and It's very hard on him not having his mom and dad around. He's gowing through all sorts of rebellion over it as well

I understand how bad you must want a child.
i really do.
but before you have a baby... please talk, and really think about it.

Maybe even talk to kids who have lost parents due to AIDS.

There are medications that can prevent the transmission of the disease from mother to child. If this is something you really want to do, talk to a doctor.

yes! it is possible for you to have a perfectly healthy baby who is hiv neg. Talk to your doctor.

Forget it even adoption not fair to the child. Sorry for you contrary to opinion not always you fault. Good Luck. Try giving you love to kids that need a mentor.
