It may or it may not. No one, and I mean NO ONE, can make a prediction as what your actual reading will be whether higher, lower or no change. You will have to find out for yourself.

Your glucose may be higher in the am because your liver releases glucose into your cells during the night because you have not eaten and your body thinks it needs to nourish itself. It is important to eat regular meals to keep your sugar under control

it's possible that the reading will be lower. but without a lot of information i don't really know what to say. A lot depends on whether you are diabetic or not, whether you are type 1 or 2, whether you are on the pump, etc. etc.

if you are taking your meds right --yes it should be lower --but if not --then your meds should be increased---anything below 126 is good--i am not a nurse --but i am a diabetic
