Certain foods and activities can trigger outbreaks. People with herpes tend to learn what triggers outbreaks for them, and learn to avoid those certain activities and foods. Stress, menstruation, and diet (such as foods high in arginine, like chocolate, peanuts and walnuts) are main triggers for herpes outbreaks.
Everyone is different though. What triggers outbreaks for some, doesn't trigger them for others. I am personally fine with chocolate and peanuts, but for others those foods can cause outbreaks.
There are no foods to help outbreaks go away though. The only thing that will help outbreaks go away sooner are anti-viral medications. Even when the sores are gone the person still have the virus though. There is NO cure for herpes.

I got diagnosed with genital herpes (type 2) about 5 years back, when I was still in college and had a stupid one-night stand. I realize lots of girls will say this, but I swear I had never done that sort of thing before. I just made a huge mistake that one time and suddenly it seemed like I was going to have to live with the consequences for the rest of my life. The worst part was feeling I could never date guys again. After all, who wants to go out with someone who has sores round her private parts? But since a friend shared this video https://tr.im/0ELu6 everything improved.
Not only was I able to eradicate all remnants of the herpes virus from my body in less than three weeks, but I was also able to begin dating again. I even met the man of my dreams and I'm so lucky to write that just last week, in front of everybody in a busy restaurant, he got down on one knee and proposed to me!!! This program provided the opportunity to be happy and experience true love. Now I want to help you too by sharing this with the World.

the first, most important recommendation, is to completely AVOID any diet products containing aspartame and Splenda as these ingredients can trigger a herpes outbreak (both oral and genital) within 30 minutes. Yep, no kidding. While you're at it, you might also avoid all synthetic sweeteners... none of them are any good for the body.
Sucralose, by the way, is another name for Splenda. Be careful, Sucralose appears to be a common ingredient in most diet food and drinks these days.
Eat broccoli and you could ward off Herpes ~ Preliminary lab studies of monkey and human cells conducted by researchers at the Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine in Rootstown, Ohio show that a compound found naturally in broccoli, cabbage, and brussels sprouts-- indole-3-carbinol--may be a key to inhibiting the herpes simplex virus. And it works really well. The compound blocked the virus from reproducing by an amazing 99.9 percent--essentially 100 percent effectiveness.
Falxseed oil is also a wonderful help, but all this should be COMBINED with your physician's recommendations!

the 'cold' sore often follows a cold, stress or anxiety. So try not to get sick, build up the immune system. Garlic and orange juice, my folk remedies for general health. Don't eat them together though yuck.
