So many dinners, so little time! Recently, the "best dinner" was with my partner in a little mom- and- pop Italian restaurant called Mama Suzannas. The minestrone was probably the best I've ever had, full of veges and meat and tiny macaroni. The broth hit your tongue and I found myself closing my eyes to savor every bit of it! The spaghetti and meatballs were a delight to the mouth with every bite. Not sure what the secret is to their sauce, but I have to say that I wanted to lick the plate when I was finished! The bread is warm and homemade and even the Chianti was perfect. What made it all the better, though, was being there with my soulmate.

we were in chelsea, in NY, our first trip away together. we stumbled onto this tiny little nook, a french place tucked under an apt. building. it was so authentic, so cozy and it was one of the most wonderful meals i've ever eaten. from the salad, to the steak, to the plate with fruits, nuts and cheeses. the wine was selected to compliment the meal. it was delicious and romantic. ahhhh.
