You may be having the starting symptoms of anxiety. Its actually not bad for your heart to be beating like this-especially if you've had doctor's check it out. I was diagnosed with generalized anxiety disorder because all of a sudden my heart would be a million times a second (it seemed like), I would sweat, feel lightheaded, feel like I was going to pass out. Those were panic attacks. So, you may want to ask your doctor to check you for anxiety. I would recomment Lexapro. It worked wonders for me. Do not let them put you on Xanax, especially if you are not that bad into the symptoms of anxiety. That is an addictive drug. I'm taking a low dose of Lexapro (10mg) while other people have taken up to 40 and 50mg. Look up anxiety on the web. Read up on it. That's what it sounds like to me.

Are you thinking about a guy when this strong heart beat happens. If so it might be love.

I don't know exactly.
When I was in my late teens I would have an occasional heartbeat that was severely painful and felt like a hear attack.
It went away when I stopped smoking, drinking, and doing drugs. I also cut caffeine and iced tea.
