A lot of these "facts" thus far presented are based on pure anecdotal evidence. So, I'll provide more anecdotal "facts" to the contrary.
I know plenty of vegetarians who indulge in a piece of meat or accidentally get a beef stock soup and who are sick that entire night from it. It may be partially psychosomatic, but some of them didn't know until they called the restaurant or the person and found out for sure. Others I know accidentally get some and feel 'off' the rest of the day. Not vomiting sick, but slight tummy ache and just an icky feeling. Again, they often don't find out that meat was the culprit until after they were sick.
It really just depends on your body chemistry, what you decide to indulge in, and possibly how long you've been 'clean'. Just like how one drink after 10 years of being sober may get you buzzed, one hamburger after being veggie may throw your body off.
It's also apparant when people go from a healthy low fat low carb diet for years and then eat something super greasy and nasty. They may get a stomach ache, bowel problems, headaches, etc. Their body simply isn't used to it.

No, you should have no problem eating meat again. Most people that eat meat, after not eating meat for a long time, will be a little turned off at first. It's more mental.

it's all upto your inclination to relish the meat, actually.
if after a long gap, some sort of aversion is developed towards the non-veg. food in general, it's more for psychological reasons, that you won't enjoy the dish.
i don't think there is any thing like losing the capacity to digest it.
my sister, a doctor, who is very fond of eating chicken and mutton, can not eat it it frequently at home, for family reasons, they being vegetarian. but whenever she eats, she does not have any problem with digesting it.
if there was no craving for 6 months, why do you want to eat it now ?
might as well give it up altogether !

Guess what? When you eat meat, your stomach will understand and produce the proper enzymes to digest it. For your own sake (nausea wise), I would introduce the meat slowly. Might start with chicken or fish and graduate to ground meats in small quantities. Just don't go out and hog down a hamburger or a steak...I think you would regret it. Godloveya.

Your body isn't going to forget what you ate for 15, 20, or 30 years (depending on how old you are).
Start with something light if you're worried about it.
I was vegetarian for 7 months and then sat down one night and ate chicken pot pie, no ill effects!

It will be fine. I was a vegetarian for 2 years and I lost all control one day and ate an entire 400g box of wafer thin turkey ham. And I was fine. hehe...

Why do you want to do that? All the discipline to the garbage?
Well it is your choice but you will have no problem digesting meat. It is a myth.
