A C-pap and oxygen both require a prescription. You don't change a doctors prescription with his/her approval. Call your doctor and ask him to order an over night de-saturation study. The doctor or a home care company will give you a pulse ox to use while you sleep. If you blood oxygen level is high all night, then the doc can have you turn the oxygen down. Do not do it on your own. You body (brain, heart, kidneys) needs that oxygen.

Good luck
