What's more important to you? Your health or your job, and the lousy house your living in? Hun, you can get another job, and a place to live. But you cannot get another body, let alone a healthy one if it gets worse.
Mold is very serious!!!!! Black mold can kill you and damage your children too, or kill them if the spores get in their lungs.
My Aunt by marriage called the health department, and got the place she lived in into trouble over mold, she was so sick for like 3 years. She did have to move, but she ended up with a settlement afterwards. Your landlord of course doesn't want a law suit, but if your sick, you are sick, it cost money to get the testing done on you and your house to prove it, but your better off out of there if it is mold. Your endangering your family by living there not just yourself. Find another job, find a good doctor, and get tested for mold spores in your lungs or blood. Get the house tested for mold, and if it is there, move out, and sue the pants off your uncaring landlord and boss.

One way to prove you are not "insane" is to take pics of the mold and mildew. That should slow down your family's disbelief. If you own the home, you may hire someone to come in and check for the mold spores and mildew and any other allergens. If you rent, you can ask the landlord to take care of this. If they refuse, you can still do it and foot the bill yourself. If it is something that is caused by the landlords negligence, you can take them to small claims court, with all appropriate proof, receipts, estimates, test results so forth, and sue them. You can also get an air purifier. One that dehumidifies as well is best. That will clean the moisture and any allergens out of the air. If you are having any health issues, see your Dr, if your Dr can't find the problem, find another Dr. Do not give up. It could be something serious, God forbid.

Report your boss/landlord to the housing authority, then see a lawyer about making him pay for you and your child's respiratory distress. Sounds like he is already worried that you might do this. You and your family's health is the primary concern.
Mold/mildew does cause respiratory problems. Discuss your signs and symptoms with your physician.

your children will have learning disabilities or breathing problems as well. You can get a profesional to test for mold and if its positive hes not aloud to rent you the house .What I would do is move after you find out the mold is there and save it and take him to court if he trys to make you pay anything. You dont have to stay and the health department can be called on him as well because its unsafe. He cant fire you over that. You should have your lungs tested and your children thats where the mold affects you and I believe in you head.I knew someone this happened to and there son had problems and they resold the house and put there new baby in there. So just look out for yourself and your children enen if you move and get a new job.

I would report them. At the rate you are going, if you don't get the problem fixed, you won't be around long enough to see your kids go to college. Best of luck to you in this difficult situation, but your health is more inportant.
